Covering the ordinary Chief Officer for the Christmas and New Year holidays,
I led the deck team of a 2nd Officer/Bosun and four deckhands maintaining the yacht while having to keep it
pristine, as it was for sale and up for viewings.

Responsible for bridge equipment and publications, GMDSS, passage planning for sea trial, ISM/ISPS etc.

Working closely with 2nd Officer/Bosun, leading the 4 deckhands and dayworkers in daily operations, scheduled maintenance, training, budgeting etc.

There were many small and large projects to complete, all with the aim of selling the yacht.
Focuses was needed on guest areas, but first had to be on engine and large paint jobs.
Ready the yacht for Sea Trials
While we had many large projects, we also needed to always be ready for charter/viewing mode, at short notice.

Class and other ISM/ISPS/LSA/FFE certificates were to be prepared and updated.

In charge of medical first aid, updating, provisioning and maintaining the onboard lasarette, working with MSOS.
